A Detailed Review of Saratoga National Golf Club

The gorgeous Saratoga National Golf Club offers a real Saratoga experience, from horseshoes along the tee boxes to cosmetic horses around the grounds. The 18-hole course features a distinct test to every experience levels and adjacent water engulfs a couple holes on the back nine.

The 7,265 yard course (playing the longest tees) creates a par 72 but please don’t underestimate the hazards and carries that cradle several of the fairways. The breathtaking 15th hole par-3 sits in the form of an “island” that will require a 160+ yard carry over absolutely nothing but water. The course rating is 74.5 and features a slope rating of 143 on Bent grass.

As you access the facility, the long ride to the bag drop takes you past several holes offering a surreal view of the attractive green course. Fairways are held in dazzling shape and the greens play quickly.

You will not even be permitted to carry your own clubs given that the employees are very gracious to help you get situated with ease. Built in coolers and GPS on the golf carts are some of the multitude of amenities offered at this amazing club. Relish in the free driving, putting, and chipping ranges (with sand bunkers and ball pickup machines) getting you heated up right before your round.

Once you enter the locker room, you are invited to have your golf shoes re-spiked and cared for free of cost, whilst you take a chilled cocktail while viewing the golf channel. The pro shop possesses an abundance of golf supplies and attire – and the delectable Prime Steakhouse delivers a spectacular dining experience after or before your round is finished.

Golf Digest has granted Saratoga National Golf Club several of its most substantial awards, incorporating it within their “Best in State” rankings for 2007-2008. In addition to placements on the “Best New Upscale Public golf Course inAmerica” list together with the “100 Best Public Golf courses in America”, it’s also received the accompanying awards:
